This draft describes common data categories for a messaging service and website. Before publishing, 4CINFOTECH should verify it against the app’s actual implementation, hosting configuration, analytics, backups, and retention practices. This page is not legal advice.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the 4C Pulse website, official download pages, Help Center links, and the 4C Pulse application where applicable. Different features or app versions may process different information.
2. Information that may be processed
- Account and profile information: details you provide when registering or managing an account, such as a display name, username, email address, or profile image, depending on the version and fields used.
- Contacts and recipients: contact identifiers or recipient information needed to find users and deliver messages, depending on the permissions and contact-selection features you use.
- Messages and shared content: message text, attachments, group information, delivery status, and related metadata needed to provide messaging features. The exact data stored and for how long depends on the implemented service.
- Device and technical information: app version, device and operating-system details, connection information, diagnostic events, and security logs where collected.
- Website and download logs: information such as requested pages, timestamps, browser details, and download events may be recorded by the web server or download system.
- Support communications: information you include when you contact support.
3. How information may be used
Information may be used to create and manage accounts, route messages, provide group and media features, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, respond to support requests, publish and measure downloads, and protect the service.
4. Messages, encryption, and security
4CINFOTECH uses appropriate technical and organizational measures for the features it operates. The specific protection applied to messages depends on the app version and implemented architecture. Unless the current app documentation explicitly confirms end-to-end encryption for a particular feature, do not assume that messages are end-to-end encrypted. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, notification, or support providers where necessary to operate the service. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer. This policy should be updated with the actual providers and sharing arrangements used by 4C Pulse.
6. Retention and deletion
Information should be retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, subject to operational requirements, backup cycles, and legal obligations. Actual retention periods and account/message deletion procedures must be confirmed against the production system before this policy is published.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
8. Children
4C Pulse is not intended to be used in violation of applicable age requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact support so the matter can be reviewed.
9. International processing
Information may be processed in the locations where 4CINFOTECH and its service providers operate. Applicable safeguards should be described here once the service’s actual hosting and processing locations have been confirmed.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the product changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email support@4cpulse.com or use the Help Center. Confirm the contact mailbox before publishing.
